I somehow stumbled across this really nice short bio on Australian sculpture Dion Horstmans and fell in love with his abstract geometric steel prisms. I love the simple clean lines of the structures, particularly in his 'Night Rider' and 'Voltage' series. There is a solidity in the material yet they seem quite fluid and ever-changing as the shapes move and alter shape as you move around them. I also love how the shadows cast by the sculpture become an extension of the artwork and is also fluid and ever-changing as the light source changes and moves.
